Speed Holes is a term from an episode of The Simpsons. Homer was dressed as Krusty the Klown at a car dealership. The Springfield Mafia tryed to kill Krusty (Homer) via bullets. All shots missed and hit the hood of the car Homer was thinking about buying.
"What are these holes?"
"Those are .. speed holes .. they make the car go faster"

Well, Homer didn't get the car, but he did take a pick-axe to his to put in "Speed Holes" all the while bragging to the godly witted Flanders.
