Well I'm sorry, but it is a universal truth at the current time. The keyword isn't
never, it's
necessary. Swerve is never
necessary. There is no situation in modern day FRC where the only possible solution is swerve. Until FIRST makes a game where swerve is required, the phrase, "Swerve is never necessary" will be a universal truth. If that statement were false, the only winners of Einstein would be swerve drives, and I know you're a smart kid who follows FRC and its history, so you know that's not the case. Can swerve be advantageous for some? Certainly. Is it ever necessary though? Never.
