Yes.

There are actually 3 problems here. 1 is that the noodle can't be seen easily, thus it'll be harder for the refs to score. 2 is that Field Reset can't get it out easily... they're likely to just toss another noodle to replace it. Then the noodle is still in the can, which will make the next alliance's life miserable if they try to put one in.

And 3 is that you may get a penalty for damage, but that's highly situationally-dependent.
