Just depends on how you want to play the game and how well each mechanism integrates with the rest of your robot (drivetrain, other scoring mechanism, etc.). One thing to keep in mind with a bottom stacker is that you must have room to hold onto a box while you lift the others. Certainly not an insurmountable problem, but it may lead to some interesting frame designs.
