Re: Ethernet Camera Trouble

Yes it will work without a problem. We have been using the IP camera as an alpha and beta test. What language are you programming in?

Simply connect to the axis camera website using the IP and configure it for your use. Plug the RoboRio into the D-link, then plug the camera into the D-link as well.Try to avoid powering the camera and the D-link on the same VRM.

Although we have done that successfully in practice, we will never have both the 5V camera and 5V D-link on the same VRM in competition.

If you have a specific question on how to grab frames let us know.

You can also use the Axis Config tool provided by FRC (installed with the FRC suite i.e driverstation) if you are unsure how to determine the IP of the camera.
