Actually, I thought those commercials were reasonably clever. They're a bit extremist, for sure, and not entirely accurate, but they are clever.
What I meant was, really, that the 9th Circuit was giving due consideration to the founding tenets of this country, understanding the language of the Constitution as it related to the climate of the times. The judges were not thinking about what would get them re-elected or what might be best for them. They were thinking about the principles of a country and they took an amazing step toward regaining the integrity of a nation.
