[EDIT] I just got it activated - I kept submitting the same S/N, and it eventually worked. If you hit this problem, just keep trying I guess. [/EDIT]

I am having this same problem. I have tried a few dozen times now but it won't go through. This whole business of having to activate a piece of hardware seems like a waste of time and resources to me. Too bad they weren't giving out something tried and true like a Makerbot.
Also, our printer did not ship with the "included" flash drive.
