Re: Disabled students on the team

We don't have any disabled students, but my first thought on reading your post is:

Let the Student tell you what they are interested in doing, and then help them find a way to meaningfully participate. If the Student doesn't know, let them bounce from team to team, just like the other kids. If they still don't know, then you can help guide them to what you think would be easiest for them.

IMHO, they want to be treated like the other students, so let them be like the other students. Maybe a little extra help along the way, and when they have found their niche, a some accommodation to help them participate.
