Robot Specifications

Drive
  • 3 Wheel drive with two AndyMark 6" Hi-Grip wheels in front and 1 Vex Pro 6" Omni wheel in the back
  • Custom 5:1 drive transmission with Vex Pro aluminum gears
  • Drive encoders used with s-curve motion profiling for precise position, velocity, and acceleration control in autonomous mode

Elevator and Forks
  • Custom 10:1 non backdriving worm drive for elevator
  • Encoder on elevator transmission for PID control of elevator
  • Powered by two RS-775 motors for lift speeds of over 1.5 feet/second
  • Forks can travel down to be flush with the bottom of the frame, letting us pick up both containers and totes
  • Intakes stacks of any size and places them on top of stacks of 5 or less
  • Places containers on top of stacks 5 or less

Intake
  • Flexible lexan arms let the intake pick up totes and containers
  • Powered by two RS-550 motors with 1:64 reduction
  • 3D printed protective cones (not shown) to guide totes so we can load from the feeder station as fast as the totes come through the chute.
  • Quick release pins to fit intake in transport configuration.
