An interesting aspect of this year is now that alliances are not directly competing against each other, matchups such as "254/973 vs 1114/2056" won't be about how each alliance fares against the one opposite it, but instead how each can perform on their own, changing which matches will be the most entertaining to watch (that is, until eliminations) compared to previous years.
