Counting how many of these happened during the one year I was on 2783 (2011)...

I counted 3:

-The loose battery: I remember being the fool who forgot to fasten the battery to one of the demo chassis (basic kitbot made for assembly demonstration). I (or somebody else) was trying it out, and the battery was lanched like a discus. No harm, no foul.

-The supermagnets. I won't give details here, but we used them for the minibot... and a certain mechanical student who for his sake (and my sake as we're college buddies still) shall be nameless had a ER trip or two due to mishandling.

-The locked door: that was more of a bad luck thing... but I remember having to circle the warehouse to find an unlocked door one day... we did find one, luckily.
