The real point is that the performance of an alliance is highly nonlinear this year. You certainly don't need three robots working the tote chutes, nor three getting RCs off the step, nor three mining the landfill. As such, if your team includes one of the best litterers at the event, yes, zero this out for alliance selections. Likewise, if your first pick has a great litterer, don't look for it in the second round. Heck, if you expect to get all four RCs and stuff all seven with noodles and stack them, the litterer doesn't matter nearly so much. The bottom line is that, if your alliance doesn't have someone who can get the great majority of the litter across the field, you're better off not throwing at all, or at least waiting until the second half of the match.
