remember inverse is the same as going to the power of -1 if you don't have a calculator with the function already...
The inverse of a function f(x) is not 1/f(x).

The inverse of f(x) is g(x), such that g(f(x))=x

For example, the inverse of f(x)=x2 is g(x)=sqrt(x), not 1/x2
