Re: Alternative to VIAIR compressors?

To get an official ruling on if this compressor would be legal please ask on the official Q&A. If you have a Q&A response that says it would be legal then I would allow it.

With that said R68 specifies 1.05 cfm not ~1.05 cfm. By my math 30 liters per minute = 1.05944 cfm. If you round to 2 decimal places that would be 1.06cfm. As an LRI, if you wanted to use it at my event I would not allow it unless you had either and email or Q&A response from FIRST specifically allowing it.

The Master Flow MF-1040 Cyclone are, however, very nice portable air compressors for your vehicle. I have one in my wife's vehicle that we bought at a Pep Boys after a tire kept slowly leaking a year ago on a road trip. It cam in handy last week on our way to the Orlando Regional when we picked up a nail on the road.
