Re: Jaguar(s) Acting Odd

Could the elevator be jammed or sticky enough to stall the CIM for a few seconds before it begins to move?

What version of firmware do you have on the Jaguar (v109)?

A Jaguar will protect itself from overcurrent if the CIM draws too much, e.g., is stalled too long. The Jag signals this with a red status light.
Older firmware Jags give up a lot sooner when they encounter stall conditions.
The Elevator doesn't jam enough it moves quite freely.

I need to check what firmware we are using.

Well we figured out after a little testing that the RED Light was slowly flashing and not solid. Apparently the Limit Switch jumpers were missing from the replacement jaguar. We replaced the limit switches and the problem was resolved.

Because this worked we didn't confirm or figure out what the initial problem really was on the first jaguar.

Thanks to all the help!
