This is actually a rule this year. Don't know what section or number
Captain is in the middle, first pick on left, 2nd on right
I don't know why FIRST did this, but it actually adds a little bit of strategy into order of picking (especially for the 8th alliance)
Having the alliance captain in the middle allows them to easily communicate with and lead the other teams on their alliance
Personally, I like the forced layout.
