Ooh, field reset sounds like fun. It says it is for a minimum of two days, though. It's the first time their for most of them, and we also need to:
- hit the FRC/FTC pits to meet other teams (and learn from them!)
- Innovation Fair
- Attend a few specific sessions at the Championship Conference
- watch matches (which can be accomplished while doing field reset)
- probably see a few sights
If we could do it for one day, that would be ideal, but maybe we need to sign up for safety glasses or something else with a one-day commitment.
Any other one-day items for teens? I've checked the list:
http://www.usfirst.org/community/vol...vent-positions
and it's not obvious which other ones are or are not (for teens), in most cases.
Also, are the shifts basically the entire day? (For instance, could one leave one's post for an hour or so to attend a conference session -- with approval of their lead volunteer, of course -- and come back?) I am just trying to put together an itinerary, and am not sure what to expect. Thanks!
