SCRIW V (South Carolina Robotics Invitational & Workshops 2015)

(Holy cow, how did we make it this long?!)

FRC 1293 (Pandamaniacs) and FRC 2815 (Blue Devil Mechanics) Present:
SCRIW V
(South Carolina Robotics Invitational & Workshops 2015)

Join us for the 5th annual South Carolina Robotics Invitational & Workshops (or as we call it, SCRIW)! We’ll be playing Recycle Rush one more time on a regulation field, and we back it up with a great series of workshops so you can take home good ideas before the 2016 season gets underway!

Who: You and your FRC team! We play with your 2015 FRC robot.
What: A one-day FRC tournament—alliances, playoffs, seedings, everything—on an official, borrowed-from-FIRST FRC field with an FTA onsite.
When: October 24, 2015. (Not an SAT date, not a USC home football game, not the state fair. Phew!)
Where: Dreher High School, Columbia SC. (This is a change from SCRIW IV, but we think this will be a great venue. And you Florida teams: it's closer to the Amtrak station!)
Why: Because you want your newbies hooked early on FRC, because you want to have some more fun, because you want redemption for Palmetto... (We kid--we know you'll do great!)
How much: $300 if you register & pay by July 1, $400 after.
(2016 rookies compete free with a paid mentor team, “B” teams are $200 and open 8/1/15.)
Let’s go! Sign up at SCRIW.org.

This will be another top-notch event, and we can't wait to have you.

Three teams are already in--two might've been a little obvious, though:

342 - Burning Magnetos
2815 - Blue Devil Mechanics
4901 - Garnet Squadron
(Don't worry, 1293 is still game to field a robot but only plans to if it gets us to an even number. )

24 spots left!
