First, Congrats on going to CMP, great video, and go PNW!
For us, we really wanted to get outreach and sponsors this year, so we went to City Hall at their most recent meeting and introduced ourselves there, get our name out and such. Not even a week later we have volunteer items coming from the board for us!
Always get in good with a local reporter. For the past three years we have had the local newspaper for our area interview us any chance we could get one, and we actually made the front page of the website just after the DCMP! Also, get some airtime with a local news station, like KING5 (i know thats in your area) or NWCN is a great way to spread your team and FIRST (that video would be cool for people to see too!)
Hosting open drive sessions for middle schoolers is a great way to get them interested, or you can go to open houses at the schools or freshman orientation to get them interested in STEM and robotics. (We got about 10 people to sign up that are incoming freshman, and that is HUGE for us.)
If you have a website, post it there. If not, GET ONE! Its a good way to show friends, family, sponsors, and randoms about you and FIRST! Social media is also really great to have, it can be used to show off team spirit, keep track of rankings during events for people who cant watch, or just show who you are in quick little pictures and blurbs that arent really meant for a professional website.
