Re: Missouri Robotics State Championship 2015

Missouri now boasts 3 offseason events spread across the state: Cow Town ThrowDown (KC Side), Gateway Robotics Challenge (St. Louis Side), and now the Missouri State Championship (Middle-ish Sedalia). This weekend's event was fantastic. The attention to detail, quality of the volunteers, food prices, webcast, and level of competition all made it a very enjoyable event. Having it in just one day also made it easier for us to attend. Thank you Team Scream (FRC 4522) for hosting. You guys put the Pro in Gracious Professionalism.

Oddly enough we, Team Titanium (FRC 1986), haven't played with Team Driven (FRC 1730) in an elimination alliance since before we won our first regional (KC 2010). It was an honor to be selected to join your alliance and thrilled that we could work with FRC 5326 to help bring home the inaugural Missouri State Championship. Fitting that the #1 seed from KC and the #1 seed from St. Louis join forces for the Blue Banner.

Wanted to give a shout-out to 1987 and 1723. I was blown away when I first saw 1987 reveal their robot. 1723 was the perfect capper for them and kept iterating their canburglers all season. Together they were a real force and a pleasure to watch. Congrats on making the finals with "rookie" sensation 5730.

The 1806, 4522, 5098 alliance put up the highest QF scores and looked both consistent and dominant. Even after a devastating first SF match they put up a 2nd SF score that put them on pace to still make the finals. We did all the noodle pushing we could in the last SF to make sure we didn't have to face this alliance in the finals. You all have earned our deepest respect.
