2015 MidKnight Mayhem
“Recycle Rush” Rule Changes

Please make note of these rule changes, as they will be put into effect at MidKnight Mayhem. Anything not listed here will be ruled as in the latest edition of the 2015 Game Manual.

1. All robots may weigh up to 130 lbs.
2. The two centermost totes on the step are removed in an attempt to make the 20-point Co-Opertition Set feasible.
3. G24 is amended, causing no foul for yellow totes that transfer onto the opposite side of the field if it is the result of an attempted Co-Op.
4. G33B is eliminated, allowing litter to be introduced over the alliance wall at any point in the teleoperated period.
5. All playoff matches are double-elimination, using the 2014 bracket structure.
6. Tethers may be eliminated for one robot piece under 20 lbs. This counts towards a team’s 130 lb allowance.
7. Mentor Matches during the lunch break are 6v6 Dodgeball on the FRC field. Registration for ‘alliances’ will be posted at Pit Admin in the morning.
8. Mayhem Rule: Each alliance receives a “Stacks of Seven” coupon with their backup robot & timeout coupons. The alliance may use their Seven Stack Card at any point in the playoff tournament, allowing the alliance to score stacks of seven for additional points in that match only.
So #6 means that ramps (so long as they weigh less than 20 lbs) can be on the field without being tethered to the robot, correct?

And I'd assume that the stacks of 7 rule just means that those stacks would be scored as if the rules didn't prohibit stacks of 7? (i.e. a fully capped and noodled 7 stack would be worth 48 points [2*7+4*7+6=48]
