A New Competition Stat: task Offensive Power Rating (tOPR)
tOPR: task Offensive Power Rating
I applied the least-squares estimation technique used to calculate OPR to the individual match scoring breakdown data released via the FMS API. Much like OPR is an estimate of average points scored by a team per match, tOPR is an estimate of the average number of times a team completes a certain task per match.
I have attached a .zip file containing tOPR values for all 2015 official events in .csv format for the following tasks: Level 1 Containers, Level 2 Containers, Level 3 Containers, Level 4 Containers, Level 5 Containers, Level 6 Containers, Total Totes Scored, Litter in Containers, Unproc. Litter, Fouls.
I have also attached the values for the 2015 IRI in .xls format for anyone who doesn't want to deal with .zip/.csv files. It's also on a Google Spreasheet here.
Take a look! Find out how your team did based on these new metrics.
Microsoft Excel can be used to open .csv files, among other programs.
