It's okay to look nice, just do your normal beauty routine. You never know when you'll be elbow deep in robot parts and the cutest boy comes and asks if you need help.

Okay, I have read enough replies to acknowledge that the ladies feel more comfortable getting ready for a robotics competition on their own time, and that the whole five minutes thing is unrealistic. I was trying to emphasize that you really do not need to worry about your appearance as much. But if you feel comfortable spending hours in front of the mirror getting ready, well then go right ahead.
As for you, oneangrydwarf, preparing a mohawk takes great skill and dexterity to perfect. Thus, needing more than five minutes prepare. Unless, you are awesome and can make a
pink mohawk in five minutes. Make sure it is not sloppy.
