If you go to user cp --> recent posts confiq you can select which subforums you'd like to see on your portal

Looks like everything that's been happening in FTC subforum recently is on my portal where I'd expect it to be. Is the bulk of the FTC focused population more active on the FTC forums on the FIRST servers rather than here?
