Re: regional location sports teams
This year's PNW DCMP (and the old Oregon Regional, RIP) will take place in Portland's Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
The Coliseum was the home of the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers from 1970 to 1995, and is currently the home rink of the WHL's Portland Winterhawks.
(Also, the Beatles played there in 1965 - how many other FRC venues can say that?)
