It is possible that you entered an invalid address so the map will put you at the equator (which would be in the middle of the ocean, and therefore blue).

Did you sign in as a team or a mentor?
I'm signed in as a mentor; I was able to verify my account via email.

Browsers:
  • Firefox (41.0)
  • Chrome (45.0)

Firefox:
  • When not logged in (http://mentormaps.net/map.php?opt=noaccount), the map shows a number of mentors and teams, and things appear to work somewhat correctly (except for the Update List button, which does nothing).
  • After logging in as a mentor (http://mentormaps.net/map.php), I get no mentors and teams on the left, a blank map widget with broken Map and Satellite buttons in the upper-left corner (showing all grey with no map shown inside whatsoever) and the link in the lower left leading to (https://www.google.com/maps?ll=NaN,N...apclient=apiv3).
  • When looking at the unbiased map (while logged in), the map itself functions, but I still see no mentors or teams on the left-hand side.

Chrome:
  • When not logged in (http://mentormaps.net/map.php?opt=noaccount), the map shows a number of mentors and teams, and things appear to work somewhat correctly (except for the Update List button, which shows a message stating "your account was not paired in the database so the compatability algorithm will not work").
  • When logged in, the map page shows the same thing as on Firefox - a blank grey map whose URL points to NaN for the coordinates.
  • The unbiased map appears to work the same in Chrome as it does in Firefox, as well - no teams/mentors on the left, but the map and markers appear in the center. Filtering still does nothing.

There are a number of other style and alignment issues on the Maps page, as well, specifically on the right-side toolbar. Icons and text aren't lining up right, and things are falling off the edge of the screen.
