We played around with a 1D profile for our elevator implementing the method described here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8319J1BEHwM and was fairly successful.

It was done rather hastily before an offseason event and some of it is a mess. The profile generation portion is here: https://github.com/FRC3005/RecycleRu...n%20Profile.vi

Its part of a library, so to run it standalone go to File --> Disconnect from Library.
