Re: Where did you get the name for your robot?
2010: Sir Lancelot, named because we are "Knight Vision" so we started out with Knights of the Round Table as our naming custom.
2011: Sir Galahad, Lancelots' son, continuing the tradition. AKA "The robot that must not be named"
2012: Sir Robin, we didn't name this robot until our second event, where our school principal came to the event and suggested it and we ran with it.
2013: Big Mike, named after Michael Oher from "The Blind Side" because we had a strong drivetrain, albeit slow (hooray, 6 CIMs!).
2014: Optimus Crime, we voted on this one, and the explanation for that one in the poll was, "Because we break walls", again because of our strong drivetrain.
2015: KITT, we were gonna go with a Knight (Vision) Rider theme for the robot and have an arduino controlled light scheme going on, but we ran out of time.
