Re: Where did you get the name for your robot?
Our robots are traditionally named after a mentor on the team who has been a key member of the team. Typically it is one who has been with the team for a long time. The names are usually a mash up of the name of the mentor and some aspect of the game or a phrase that represents the game. Recent names have been:
2015 - Relicylce - Ryan Reliford and Recycle
2014 - Jiminy Flick-It - Jimmy Nichols and how our robot launched the gamepiece
2013 - Flying Saunders - Susan Saunders and Frsibee game pieces
