Thanks for the kind words. Despite my area's notoriety for flooding, we got away with nothing besides some low water pressure, a boil water advisory, and a limited menu at the Waffle House. (Oh, and the city curfew.) 4901's shop was spared despite being just across the street from Gills Creek that's flooded so badly (if there's a deity running the show that reads Chief: thanks!), and we're trying to get a hold of other teams in the area to check on them and their members. 2815's school was used as a shelter briefly, 3976's school is a water distribution point; I expect some students from both schools (if not the teams) to be out of their houses for a while. Lester Holt anchored NBC Nightly News tonight from about two and a half miles away, along a road I drive several times a week; obviously, not everyone in town was anywhere near as lucky as my family and I were. If anyone has a few bucks to spare, you can donate online.
