Hello CD Community!
First off, thank you to everyone who has watched, listened, commented, and shared our show! It has been a very exciting experience to start something from scratch, and I truly appreciate everyone who joined in our two pilot episodes. You can catch the show on youtube under FirstUpdatesNow or through your favorite RSS platform (see point 2).
I wanted to give an update about what our ideas are with the FUN podcast moving forward and talk about a couple special announcements (and some of it could change before the next show as well):

1. Yes, we will be continuing the podcast and moving forward with a consistent schedule so you know when to tune-in live or when to expect your RSS to update. This will be announced sometime in the future. We might be taking a month off (see point 3).
2. RSS: You can now get automatic RSS updates through ITunes or any other RSS reader app that you use (I prefer Pocket Casts for my podcasts). If you would like the direct RSS feed here it is:

3. I am very pleased to announce that Collin Fultz is right now scheduled to take on a co-host/writer role moving forward in the show. Collin brings an immense amount of ideas and ways to implement them. He has another child on the way very soon so I want to make sure he is not distracted with the show. This is why we may push back another month or so allowing us to get everything in order.
4. I am also pleased to announce that Nik Olsen (who operated the camera in the last show) will be taking on an expanded role as a producer. We plan on doing more for those watching the live video to get the audience more engaged.
5. We will be starting up social media and possibly website accounts in the near future to offer you an opportunity to pick which medium you would like to be updated about the show.
6. So here's the idea for the direction of the show: Our mission is to engage the FRC community in content that makes them want to know more about everything FRC. This identifies two different audiences that we will be targeting: Those who are engaged in the community (you the Chief Delphi user among others), and those that we can try to reach out who right now have their only engagement with other teams at a competition (and of course it will still be content that you the CD user will be hopefully interested in).
For now we will still be operating under the FUN name, this may change at some point especially if we identify multiple shows.
We want to continue an update show similar to the last episode, mixing in build season and competition updates and discussions as we get closer to the 2016 season. Some other ideas thrown around are having a live auction fantasy draft where the audience can pick their own teams based on the value established, bringing in more guest contributors, top list of teams based on a professional panel with discussion, user submissions, etc... This will most likely be done on a weekly basis starting during the build season.
Another segment/show that we are working on are interest pieces where we bring on individuals for personal interviews about themselves, their team, or their company. We are exploring bring in high interest guests, suppliers, other robotics programs, and companies to talk about their relationship with STEM, Robotics, and FIRST (can't name any companies/persons right now).
7. If anybody is interested in designing a different logo/theme music for the show, I would be delighted to anyone who would take the time and might have some goodies to give away along with credit on the show(s).
I am sure we will have much more to come, I enjoy feedback from you the viewer and want to hear what you are interested in and how we can improve. By listening and acting, we hope to create a unique curated experience that will compel you to keep listening and that you will tell your friends to tune-in as well.
