For our FIRST Lego League Trash Trek challenge this year, we are designing an app to encourage people get together and pick up litter by turning it into a game. We're using MIT App Inventor to write it, and have parts of it finished.

You can score points and earn badges for participating in a little clean-up event, organizing an event using social media, and other things to help reduce litter. We are planning to work with sponsors so that you can earn awards for being a top litter-getter.

It's called "Crudsourcing", which is Crowdsourcing for litter pick up!
