Many of you have heard of Microsoft's HoloLens and if you have not look it up:
IT IS EPIC!
Right now Microsoft is reaching out to the HoloLens community for app ideas that
they could build for the HoloLens. This is great because if the idea is popular enough Microsoft themselves will build it.
I have submitted the idea of a
FIRST Robotics Simulator app for the HoloLens.

This application would provide the user a simulated version of
FIRST Robotics fields and robots.
FTC and FRC teams would be able to see models of the competition field and be able to import CAD files of their robots into the simulation.
This would be extremely helpful because teams could see their robot to scale with the field before they have to build anything. In addition, it could work in conjunction with FRCSim so teams could simulate and program their robots before building them.
If you think this would be a great application
please like the idea. It would be so cool if this became a reality.
