I find it very interesting that in the event search section the default distance is 100 miles and in fact the max distance is 100 miles. We are on the VA / NC border and requested to be allowed to compete in the NC district due to geographic location to the events and were denied. Now when I search for events the only ones that show up are NC events
and all of them show up. Looks like the designer of the site also thinks you should compete at events within 100 miles.
