thats how it is in the real world - engineering is all about change
when things stop changing you dont need engineers anymore.

I think we saw a bit of that this year, with the introduction of bins. A lot of teams had gotten really good at handling balls, but the bins were a complete unknown, and some of the rooky teams did as well, if not better than some of the teams that have dominated in the past. As for an underwater game, I'm not so sure that FIRST would really go for that... As much as they like to switch things around, that would be a little much. They tend to reuse as much as they can, but there would almost nothing that could be reused from this year's field....
