Re: Bumper clarification

"at least 8 in. of BUMPER must be placed on each side of each outside corner"

This rule is surprisingly clear when read carefully.

The key is understanding what "each side of each outside corner" means. It means that for every extreme convex corner of your frame, the edges that intersect at that corner must have 8 inches of bumper starting from the point of intersection and ending at a minimum of 8 inches in the direction towards the opposing end of each respective edge.

Basically, any given side of a robot will have at least 16 inches of bumper, as each corner of that side will have a minimum of 8 inches.
