Don't worry about the NavX *displacement* having drift. It produces very good angle values which is what everyone is actually using. Displacement is incredibly difficult to accurately calculate using an accelerometer. First you have to integrate the acceleration to compute velocity then you have to integrate velocity to get position/displacement.
