Hmm. I don't know if this would be a bad thing or not, but maybe you could add a wedge to your bot? Not a really steep one because that's calling for a referee to give you a foul. But one that is low to the ground so robots can't come under you. I'd say 60 degrees to the horizontal might do. If you do that the other robot will loose some of it's normal force and distribute it to you. In a pushing match so should be more firmly on the floor (it works wonders for traction but I'm not 100% sure for flipping). It's harder for them to come under you so you're more likely to get the traction benefit and there being less chance for a flip. (force of friction, "in the ideal" is commanded by the normal force). Still, if you got the room it's worth a try I think. think
