I was thinking using a USB hub and having all the tablets connected and I did a trial of that last year, but I ran into the issues of cable lengths and people unplugging them (accidently), or not having enough power for the hub.I am curious about using Bluetooth, but am unsure about the ease of transfer, being that I would be doing this to 6 tablets in a short period of time. Any thoughts or ideas as to how I could manage this. We really don't want to rely on a app developed by another team because we want to be able to edit the form before the next competition to collect different data etc. and we currently don't have enough manpower to develop an app.
TL;DR: I want to collect PDF files from android tablets during a competition, to a pc, with out disturbing the scouts. How can I do this? Or is there a better way to do this?

Do you have a spare tablet? Switch one or two out every match for a download and a battery top-up, and the data on the whole shouldn't be more than a couple matches old at any given time. If your laptop for the job isn't up for higher-amp charging, I have nothing but great things to say about Anker battery packs.
