Before I got involved in FIRST I was a pretty active scout, but since then I've almost stopped going altogether. The troop just doesn't appeal to me anymore I guess.

I went to Philmont back in the summer before my freshman year
It's a very cool experience, and it really whips you into shape. My crew's number was 722-N. I really recommend that all scouts go there at some point - you won't regret it.
