Re: High goal shooters, where are you shooting from?

The 6-8 cycles are under ideal conditions with no defense played on us. We are hoping we can do between 5-7 week one, but we will have to wait and see. The strategy didn’t involve the low bar because we felt that the huge design constraint caused by the low bar wasn’t outweighed by the decreased cycle time for most FRC teams. We wanted to invest all our “robot points” into cycling instead of trying to do everything and being a master of none. The team is currently in the process of beefing up the active intake. Our goal is for it to continue to function after 1816 (*cough* Peter *cough*) rams into it at full speed. They are also working on an active mechanism for keeping the ball center in the shooter to help our release time once we line up our shot. Thanks for the suggestions, and we wish everyone luck.
