The quarter-turn manual valve is named vent plug in the rules; no change there.

The change is in the interpretation of the requirements of the regulator. The first I saw of it was here. The bottom line is that the manufacturer's top recommended output pressure for the regulator must not exceed 60psi. Both of the regulators recommended in the rules are OK, but some other regulators which teams have used in the past are not.


Edit: Q910 was answered this morning, overriding the instructions given to inspectors referenced at the link above.

And the "vent plug" or "plug valve" is the item at the lower left of the picture. The two items at the bottom of the middle column are plugs, but not vent plugs or plug valves.
