Re: New York Tech Valley Regional
On TVR's competitiveness:
Wow this regional is tough.
359 is the obvious one to point out, traveling from Hawaii. Also traveling from afar is 4481 with an excellent looking machine. Traveling from Ohio is 48 and from Canada is 3990. All of these away-teams have a track record of success, and I expect them to up the ante for TVR like some of the away teams from last year did.
From the Capital Region, 2791 looks to have their best machine yet, 20 is coming off an Einstein appearance. 5236 has a solid breaching machine, and 4203 has a cool robot. Some other typical contenders from the Capital Region like 3044, 1493, and 250 are probably going to be excellent as well.
From Western NY are 3003, 1551 who usually build solid machines, and 5254, who revealed our prototype machine during Week 3 of build season, and has been working hard ever since.
229 is coming from Northern NY, and they have a history of success, as well as 333 from downstate, who revealed a beautiful machine yesterday at premiere night.
Lastly, we have a crop of rookies, one from China, 5879, and three others, 5881 from Albany, 5943 from Carmel, and 5964 from Voorheesville all coming to us for the first time.
I'm beyond excited for TVR, and I can't wait to see what the Tech Valley can do against some of these out-of-state powerhouses!
