Also, be careful when using the LEDs under the outer works as a reference. At certain angles from the driver stations the LEDs will appear to be on when they aren't (this is also true for some referees). If you want to know for sure if you got the crossing quickly check the screen.

Well that's unfortunate for drive teams they cannot see the screen in the middle of their matches pretty sure all are using field indicators to decide what to cross. The biggest issue I see is on ranking points... those "challenges" should be allowed to be reviewed by video as it means likely a 3-6 place swing (of three or more teams) on end of day 1 ranks. For teams really trying and earning crossings and breaches trying to be a captain that makes it much harder with a few games left in day 2... it can be the difference of captain or being the other pick or even not selected. Many scouts only go by stats and stats for them are important.

I suspect its a week 1 day 1 thing and as the season goes on it will improve as refs become more aware of it. No hard feelings at all just trying to put the issue out there for future events ...like next week in central valley
