If you were around back in the early 2000's and compared what we have now with what we had then, you'd personally thank every single supplier that makes this competition more accessible to teams around the world. They've changed FIRST in a great way. The majority of teams don't have the skillset nor do they want to waste time building their own motor controllers (mine included.)

Oh my gosh, but 1998 - early 2000s. I don't remember when we could finally buy stuff from somewhere other than Small Parts, but it was amazing. I mean, if you want to talk about a monopoly, THERE was a monopoly....
