The cord is just wrapped for the picture, it will be used to pull us up. We didn't want to waste the time to put the cord into the tube, which is where it will be stored during the match before the hooks are deployed.

So scaling sequence.

Drive onto batter
Lift arm
Release hooks
Winch up.

If we make it to St. Louis we have a different scaling mechanism designed. The hooks will most likely be the same, our winch system will just be different.
