Hi Boltman,

Thanks for always making this thread, it makes finding the livestreams much easier. Really keeps me fastened to my seat during the weekends!

I'll personally be watching the Wisconsin event - I'm really interested in how the team from Turkey will be! Hopefully their alliance partners will be giving thanks for how good they are.

And because I haven't posted in a few days I'll leave everyone with a fun fact:

There is such a process called Friction Stir Blind Riveting (FSBR). Very similar to the idea of Friction Stir Welding (FSW) except the piece inserted into the material is not the tool but a blind rivet. This process eliminates the need for predrilling in the second plate because you just melt through it and pop the rivet! Pretty neat stuff.

Note: This process is for use on softer allows such as Zinc, Magnesium and some Aluminum alloys right now. Though I'm sure in the future it will expand to other, harder materials much like FSW! (There's obviously a lower limit though since the rivet is now the heated "tool")
