Traction Between the Wheels and the belt is not a problem it will spin the track up against the wall. The track needs to be tight haven't had any problems with it walking off. Pressure from the side doesn't seem to affect us. The belting that we got had the embedded centering yellow stripe. Just found it on eBay. Haven't noticed anywhere between the rubber track and the rubber Wheels.
