Operation: Code Clash is back! And with a new challenge:
A Game of Flows.
Operation: Code Clash (OCC) is a
FREE team-based programming competition for high school students (grades 9-12). It takes place entirely online. The goal of Operation: Code Clash is to provide high school students with a fun yet challenging competition that is often only available at the university/college level.
Operation: Code Clash is different from most other competitions in that the teams compete against each other on a virtual field of play. Teams are presented with a single mission - a game - and must create a program to play the game. This year's game is A Game of Flows, where teams must build rivers and float boats down the river. It's the water game we've all been waiting for. (Watch the video and read the game manual for further details).
Team sign up is open now and more information is available on the website:

And don't worry if you think you aren't going to have time to participate while you're getting ready for CMP. The final deadline for code submission is June 5th, so you have plenty of time after CMP.
Feel free to ask questions here.
While not limited to FIRST teams, we're sure there will be some "friendly" competition between the incredible programming talents on FRC teams throughout the world.
