Re: Predictions Week 6: Damaged Defenses

For NC, we can't forget 3506's scaling, which greatly contributed to their success at events.

From a strategic standpoint, it will be interesting to see the clash between a high-goal shooter + low-goal shooter/breacher against two quick low-goal shooters. Each has their perks: High-goal shooter obviously awards more points, but arguably takes more time, and thus a capture may not be guaranteed/as easy. Having two low-goal shooters increases the chances of capturing, however if the opposing alliance captures as well with high goals, the low-goal shooters will need a strong end-game to secure the win. NC alliances should be expecting at minimum 30-point autonomous, with 35-point being common and occasional 40-point autonomous. This early lead combined with a capture and one scale at the end of the match will be what determines the winning alliances.

Low-goal shooters should be looking to average 4-5 goals a match, with occasional crossings over Category A. High-goal shooters should be looking to average 3-4 goals a match, depending on their defensive crossing abilities and boulder feed from teammates.
